The 1970’s started with us living in Connecticut so my early trips were in New England. We then moved to Texas and I began working for Wilderness Equipment, where I was immersed in all kinds of outdoor pursuits. We would travel all over the west on trips. Finally in the late 70’s I moved to Utah to go to college and work. From there I had all of Utah to explore.
